SustainabilityXchange is a multilingual platform for the development of sustainable production chains. The platform contains news, jobs and events, a library of over 1200 titles and a registry of companies. Cooperative Knowledge is the architect of the website, and provides current news, documents, activities and jobs through the knowledge platform Infosets.

The Pesticide Database contains information about pesticides and alternative methods of control, toxicity and market admission requirements in multiple languages.
This service is an initiative of the ISEAL IPM Coalition, in which eight leading sustainability labels collaborate to reduce the use of dangerous pesticides and to promote “Integrated Pest Management”.

GCP Connect is an initiative of the Global Coffee Platform (certifier of ± 30% of the world’s coffee production), with the goal to provide its members with an environment to exchange relevant information around any theme related to the area of sustainable coffee. The platform offers, for example, news, events, questions and answers, documentation, projects and registry of people and organisations. User groups can exchange information in public and private environments.

A member information system for smallholder organizations including:

• easy to use forms for direct data collections;
• structured and standardised, allowing multiple data collectors to collect data in the same manner;
• drop-down and autocomplete selectors saving time and avoiding typing errors.
  • ready made reports available;
  • reports allow for deeper insight in membership structure (age groups, gender);
  • filters the well performing and under performing members;
  • a tool for quality improvement (which farmers deliver low quality, reason for low quality, which training needs to be organised)
  • a tool for monitoring effectiveness of training;
  • in line with information needs of certification bodies (growers lists).

Knowledge platform Infosets supports projects, organisations and networks with filtering and analysing information. Infosets collects, selects and categorises news articles from a wide range of sources. Users receive articles that are relevant to their field of interest and can create their own news pages, save articles, alert others, make custom newsletters and forward articles to their own webpage.
In addition Infosets offers the possibility to tag articles with the names of persons, organisations, locations and themes.

Infosets was developed and is managed by Cooperative Knowledge itself. Target groups include knowledge organisations and policy makers. Different installations are used for different domains. Main general domains are http://infosets.nl (mainly Dutch articles) and http://newsfolder.info (multilingual).

The website Bouwstenen voor Sociaal (Building blocks for social aims) was created as a knowledge platform for board members, managers and professionals dealing with social real estate. This includes buildings for neighbourhoods, education, shelter, culture, sports, welfare, information and care. The website has around 5000 subcribers to its newsletter, which is produced with the Infosets platform.

SWO Drimmelen is a welfare organization working for the municipality of Drimmelen in the South of the Netherlands. The website provides information about the services of the organisation and includes an interactive volunteer vacancy database and a market place for personal services. It uses the Infosets platform to collect relevant news articles and to inform the SWO clients through a newsletter.

The "Kennisplatform Bewoners" (Knowledge platform Residents) was created for the associations of small villages in the southern provinces of the Netherlands. It aims to share information and experiences around improving the quality of life in villages and neighbourhoods. It uses the Infosets service to gather information from a variety of sources and to tag the newsitems with the relevant themes.

For a long time, most databases were table-based. Since a few years, a new type of database has emerged: the graph database. For many cases, this provides a more natural structure to model data. However, tools that allow proper insight and manipulation in this type of databases are limited. For Graphileon, we developed a web-based graph database tool that allows basic exploration and manipulation of data in Neo4j graph databases, as well as the creation of advanced data-driven dashboards for specific use cases. Responsibilities include the software architecture, full-stack development in Javascript (e.g. jQuery, Angular) and PHP, and deployment methods including Webpack and Docker.

HIER is an organisation focused on the Dutch movement away from natural gas and towards renewable energy sources in homes. Though the platform already existed, we were asked to make changes to give the platform more focus on municipalities rather than neighbourhoods, and to give a full overview of all activities and changes regarding natural gas in the visitor's environment.
